Mike Binyon, left, joined 130 other volunteers to serve a record 725 meals at WabiSabi’s free Thanksgiving community meal at the Grand Center on Thursday, Nov. 26. Community leaders founded the Thanksgiving feast more than a decade ago to feed people who are out of work during the winter, serving about 300 people at the first event. This year’s meal brought people from all walks of life together, and raised $4,288 in donations.
