Kenneth “KP” Partridge, December 16, 1951 – March 22, 2015
Born to Shirley A. Stephens and Kenneth A. Partridge on December 16, 1951 in Nephi, Utah, Kenneth “KP” Partridge passed away Sunday March 22, 2015, at 4:20 in the morning at home surrounded by loved one after a long, rough fight with kidney failure.
He was a longtime Moab resident who was known in the community as a fun, friendly man who always helped out whoever and whenever he could. He enjoyed being outside camping, fishing and especially hiking in the desert looking for treasures.
He was a veteran of the army, serving from early 1970 to 1972.
He married his first wife Cindy in 1973. They had one son, Josh Partridge, in January 1974. The couple later divorced and he married his best friend and soul mate Beth in 1991.
Services were held at Spanish Valley Mortuary on Thursday, March 26. A wake followed at the Old City Park in Moab, Utah. His ashes will be buried beside his son Josh at a later date in McElmo Canyon, Colorado.
He is survived by soul mate Beth Sheets; stepchildren Charity Duran, Shereen and Aaron Sheets; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is the brother of Billy and Ivy Partridge; and Tommy and Vicki Partridge. He was preceded in death by his son Josh, and by his father and mother.
