Barbara (Cookie) Halstead passed away on November 5, 2014 in Grand Junction, Colorado.
She was born in Grand Junction, Colorado on May 19, 1941. Cookie always loved being a sister, a wife, an aunt, a mother and a grandmother. She survived by her husband Ron Halstead; her sisters Patty Horton and Carol Weatherholts; and her brother Bill Danny Benson (Rose); her daughter Ronda (Stacy) Wimmer; her son Paul (Annette) Halstead; and her grandchildren Courtney Wimmer, Colby Wimmer, Cade Halstead, Trenton Halstead, Amberly Halstead, Tiana Halstead and Sasha Halstead.
“Missing someone is your heart’s way to tell you that you loved them.” Cookie will truly be missed and will always be in our hearts forever.
Services will be held Saturday, Nov. 15 at 11 a.m. at the Spanish Valley Mortuary, 386 N. 100 W. After the service, there will be a reception at the home of Ron and Cookie Halstead, 1231 S. Sage Ave., Moab
