Peter Lee Willison, 29, of Fallon, Nev., passed away on Feb. 25, 2014.
He was born on July 8, 1984 in Rochester, N.Y., to Kenneth and Donna Willison. He married AmAsie Green in 2006 at Red Cliffs Ranch in a breath-taking ceremony near Moab.
Peter was an Eagle Scout and loved spending time with family and his many pets, all things basketball, and “thrifting.” Peter will forever be remembered for his hard work ethic, generosity, curiosity, loyalty, warmth, sense of humor, and the ability to light up a room the moment he entered it.
Peter and AmAsie loved their time in Nevada where they had the built their own little “Willison Ranch” consisting of cats, horses, miniature goats and ponies and chickens; Peter was in the process of building pens for his future additions, a pig and a cow. Their love was the kind of love only found in fairy tales.
Peter is survived by: his wife, AmAsie Willison; their kids Bucket and Trigger (dogs); his parents, Kenneth and Donna Willison; his in-laws, Kent and Cricket Green; brother-in-law Josh (Kelly) Green; his siblings: Amy and Bryan Collyer, Jeromy Willison and Andrea Lipomi, Kristian and Michael Freeman, Natalie Willison and Jacob Ellis, Mark and Nancy Willison, Emilie and Taylor Bice, Carisa Willison and Alexander Halstead, Darren Willison and Shawn Newton; and many loving nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services took place at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at The Community Church of Moab. A graveside service followed at the White Family Cemetery at mile marker 14 on state Route 128 near Moab.
