Junior devils compete

The Junior Devils attended the Fruita Mat Cat Tournament on Saturday, Jan. 11.

Carson Sheets placed first in the age 12 and under 85 pounds category, as well as first place in the age 14 and under 85 pounds category.

Trea Meyer placed second in the age 12 and under 150 pound category. Tygis Glencoe placed second in the age 14 and under 85 pounds category.

Caison Ault, placed second place in the age 10 and under 70 pounds category. Dylan Harrison placed second place in the age 12 and under 70 pounds category.

Carson Whitney placed fourth in the age 12 and under 70 pounds category. Dane Glencoe placed third in the age 12 and under 85 pounds category. He also earned the “Workhorse” award for his “never say die” performance.

The Junior Devils will compete in a tri-dual in Monticello at 4:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 16. The Junior Devils will also dual Monticello at home on Jan. 29 immediately following the Grand County High School dual with Dove Creek, Colo.
