Scott Ackerman and Sue Bellagamba document a bird sighting in Castle Valley, Saturday, Dec. 14 as part of the nation’s 114th Annual Audubon Christmas Bird Count. Their observations will be added to those of tens of thousands of other volunteers throughout the Americas and used to assess the health of bird populations. This is the longest running citizen science survey in the world.
