Paul W. Shuey, Sr., 77, died September 2, 2012 at his home in Moab surrounded by his large loving family after complications from surgery.

Shuey was born March 1, 1935 to Allen and Sara Shuey at the home farm near Greensburg, Penn. He was the second of eight children. He left Pennsylvania in 1955 to head west to prospect. He worked in the uranium industry for 25 years and construction for 25 years. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and spending great times with his family. He will be greatly missed.

Shuey is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ginger; children Monica (Gary), Paul Jr. (Shannon), Alaine (Russ), Darla (George), Wanna (Chuck), Wade (Jules); sisters Bev (Ron) and Lorraine, 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren who will also miss their Papa.

Shuey was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Al Jr. and Ike; sisters Fay, Vera, and Sally.

Shuey was a devoted father, husband and Papa.

Funeral Services were held Friday, Sept. 7 at Spanish Valley Mortuary.
