Staff at the Grand County High School announced the October students of the month: Emma Linda Knudsen and Liam Knowles.
Sophomore Emma Knudsen, daughter of Kimberly Crofutt, loves her sewing class at GCHS and spends time outside of school helping elderly people in her neighborhood. She’d love to open her own daycare or go to school to become a pediatrician after graduation.
Junior Liam Knowles, son of Jana and Dave Knowles, appreciated the thought-provoking conversations in his world history class. Liam has been the captain of the tennis team since he was a freshman and joined the cross country team this year. Outside of class, he volunteers at a summer camp supporting children with type 1 diabetes. He’s passionate about the camp since he too has the condition.
