After a multi-day search, the Grand County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that officials found the body of 53-year-old Moab resident Clay Petty, who was swept down the Colorado River on July 10.
Petty was reportedly helping a companion struggling in the water near the Potash Boat Ramp on Sunday afternoon when he vanished from sight. He was found slightly more than a mile south of that location.
