Jessica Hawks (center), a graduate of the Grand County High class of 2007, recently earned her doctorate of philosophy at the University of California San Diego School of Public Health. Jessica is the daughter of Steve and Jaylyn Hawks. She is pictured with Steve, a graduate of the Grand County High School Class of 1977, performing the traditional “hooding” ceremony for doctoral candidates.
