The Moab City Police Department and firefighters from the Moab Valley Fire Department responded on Tuesday, June 4, to a wooded area west of 292 Walnut Lane on a report of a brush fire, Moab City Police Chief Bret Edge said. “Firefighters were on scene quickly and were able to extinguish the fire before it impacted any structures,” Edge said. No injuries were reported. An investigation into the origin of the fire is ongoing.
