Dr. Ray Andrew, a physician who practices medicine in Moab, delivered a presentation called “Outside the Box” at the Utah Natural Health and Wellness Conference in Salt Lake City on May 11. Andrew said he wants to introduce the public to “the new paradigm that is transforming the health care landscape in America” by addressing functional medicine and the importance of treating the root causes of illness rather than symptoms alone.
