The Grand County Middle School band received a donation recently to its program. Middle school band director Christopher Raybould (center) and student Micah Renn (right) received a $300 check from Miriam Graham (left) on Friday, Feb. 8. The money came from small donations from community members who attend the monthly dances with the Moab Community Dance Band. “That’s part of our mission is to support music education in Moab,” Graham said. The next dance is on Saturday, Feb. 16, beginning at 7:30 p.m. with a workshop for beginning dancers.
