Dear Editor:
Kudos to the people writing to comment on the actions of the Moab Area Travel Council.
A half million dollars to promote Moab to Southern California? What is the goal here, to make every day of the year a madhouse in town?
What value is an expanded tax base when our hometown is becoming unrecognizable?
The quality of life for Moab residents is in a downward spiral. We are in a hole, and I suggest we first stop digging.
I call on the Grand County Council to abolish the Moab Area Travel Council.
