Going the distance

North Carolina-based author Jennifer Pharr Davis led a storytelling and slide show discussion at the Grand County Library on Tuesday, June 26. Davis talked about her new book, “The Pursuit of Endurance.” Davis is a hiker who has covered more than 14,000 miles, and set the fastest known time on the Appalachian Trail in 2011 by hiking 47 miles a day for 46 straight days.
