This letter regards Rep. Mike Noel’s recent proposal to rename U.S. Highway 191 in honor of President Trump. Trump is a former game show host and professional con man who brags about grabbing women by their genitalia and who actively avoided any form of military or other service to his country. Given Trump’s credentials and Rep. Noel’s high praise for his accomplishments, I instead suggest we rename Main Street in Noel’s home town of Kanab “Trump University Boulevard.” This designation would permanently call attention to one of Trump’s most successful achievements and be a warmer, more personal and appropriate honor than the Highway 191 proposal.
