Patsy Applegate, April 11, 1950 – February 1, 2018

Patsy Applegate, 67, passed away on February 1, 2018, at Moab Regional Hospital.

Patsy was born in Montrose, Colorado, April 11, 1950. She was raised in Park City, Utah. She graduated from Park City High School on May 23, 1969, and shortly after graduation she met and married David Applegate, the love of her life. In the 1970s, she became a mother. She lived as a logger’s wife moving from sawmill to sawmill, and had seen many states because of that. In 1986, her family made Moab, Utah, their final home.

Her favorite hobbies included solving puzzles, spending time with the grandchildren, knitting, and being a mother.

She is survived by her husband, of Moab; daughters Ramona Lopez, of Moab, Norina Applegate, of Queen Creek, Arizona, Rhonda Applegate and Lorinda Applegate, both of Moab; grandchildren TJ Applegate, Emily Applegate, Ernie Lopez, David-Logan Applegate Heili, Gunnar Betts, Serra Belle St. Clair, Jacob Applegate and Cody Applegate; and great-grandson Jonathin Eldridge.

Funeral services were held on Monday, February 5, 2018, at the Moab Baptist Church. Burial followed at the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
