Dear Editor,
I would like to point out something ironic that Jean Binyon stated in her letter to the editor (“Stiles again?,” Aug. 31-Sept. 6, 2017 Moab Sun News).
Mrs. Binyon seemed annoyed that Jim Stiles hasn’t lived in Moab for over 15 years – and from what I gathered from her snarky vitriol – felt like he didn’t really have a say in the matter anymore.
If you want to go with that logic, Mrs. Binyon, I encourage you to report back to the Sierra Club and let them know that only “local” input matters in Moab.
In regards to your question of “Who needs it?” (referencing Jim’s “diatribes”), I can assure you we all need it. Investigative, fact-based journalism is reliable and real news. I think the only reason his column “got your ire up,” is because it was true.
Appreciate the coverage? Help keep local news alive.
