An eye-opening read

There is a great book out now, called “On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons from the 20th Century.” It offers 20 tips to fight tyranny on a daily basis, some very easy and practical. It was written in response to the 2016 presidential election. It’s in our library on the “New” shelf. The author, Yale professor Timothy Snyder, is a historian of Eastern Europe, so he brings a perspective not heard in American news media. He also has several videos on YouTube in which he explains in detail the intentions, strategies and methods of the Russians when they influenced our election. It is tremendously eye-opening.
