A car-sized boulder punched a hole into the edge of Kane Creek Boulevard before rolling into the Colorado River during an intense rainstorm on Tuesday, July 25. Grand County Road Department Supervisor Bill Jackson said that his crews have been kept busy with roadwork following two days of heavy precipitation.
