Neko Bedoni is Moab Charter School’s Student of the Month.

He is a student in teacher Stacia Fischer’s fifth-grade class. His parents are Polly Crank and Christopher Bedoni.

Neko said his favorite subject is math.

“I really like math because it makes my mind turn,” he said.

He said he enjoys playing football outside of school, and “really enjoys” playing basketball at recess.

Fischer said that this year, Neko has grown socially and academically, and has really improved in his athletics.

“Neko is always willing to lend a helping hand,” Fischer said. “I have truly enjoyed getting to know him and am happy to see his personality blossom. Neko has dedicated hours of his time after school to help with our playground project and fundraising for our class trip to Yellowstone. Neko, I appreciate your effort and dedication to our classroom and school, and I also admire your mad basketball skills. I’m proud of you!”
