Helen M. Knight Elementary’s January Mayor-picked Student of the Month is Ali Jones.
Ali is a fifth-grade student in Mrs. Jamie Carter’s class. She is the daughter of Ryon and Traci Jones.
School officials said that Ali demonstrates many characteristics of a great citizen.
“She is a hard worker and always has a smile on her face,” they said.
She is also a team player and a positive leader among her peers, they said.
“She is determined and willing to put herself out there,” they said. “She will go out of her way to help others and is kind to everyone. She is not easily frustrated and does not settle for anything but her best. We are lucky to have her here at HMK!”
