Grand County Board of Education vice president Jim Webster, left, congratulated Grand County High School Activities Director Ronald Dolphin after Dolphin was awarded the National Federation of State High School Associations National Citation.
The citations are presented annually to outstanding athletic directors in recognition of their contribution to interscholastic athletics at the local, state and national levels.
State associations nominate athletic directors, and the NFHS board of directors approves the recipients. Dolphin was one of eight nationally recognized school athletic directors.
