Firefighters contain a “controlled burn”

Moab Valley Fire Department firefighters work to contain a fire that burned trees and brush in between Mill Creek and West Center Street near Desert Bistro on Saturday, March 5. The fire began as a controlled burn, but grew out of hand before a team of 12 firefighters brought it under control, according to the Moab Valley Fire Department.
