Thanks for your support

Dear Editor

As many Moab Sun News readers have heard, I was one of the parties involved in the head-on collision on Thursday evening. The accident occurred in the southbound lanes near the intersection of Highway 191 and Spanish Trail Road.

I was hospitalized overnight at Moab Regional Hospital and released late Friday afternoon and am currently in the process of recovering from my injuries.

I would like to thank everyone for their ongoing support during this time and really appreciate the phone calls and visits from friends, family, and folks in the Moab community and around the country over the past few days.

I also want to extend my sincerest thanks to the various members of Grand Valley Search and Rescue community, the Sheriff’s Office and Utah State Patrol, as well as the Emergency Room staff at Moab Regional Hospital for their quick response and thorough job of taking care of the situation.

Finally I want to extend my condolences to the Cresswell family for the loss of their son Kayden. I can’t imagine the pain and suffering you are going through right now. Please know that you are in my thoughts.

Due to the nature of my injuries, my schedule at the office will be somewhat irregular over the next few weeks. I really appreciate your patience as I continue the process of recovery.
