Helen M. Knight Elementary’s Mayor-picked Student of the Month for December is Nadya Petty. She is a sixth-grade student in Mrs. Jenkinson’s class. Nadya is the daughter of Dawn and Lee Petty.
“There are so many things to love about Nadya, but what I like most is that she is so kind, thoughtful, and respectful,” Jenkinson said. “She is also very responsible, organized, curious and warm-hearted. Nadya is always looking for ways to help out and help others and is very thorough and careful in all that she does.”
