Grand runners Jayelen Knowles (left), Ryan Lewis and Auburn Jackman pose after registering top-10 finishes at the Region 15 Cross Country Championships on Tuesday, Oct. 13, in Redmond. Lewis placed second in the boys race at 17 minutes, 44 seconds, while Knowles finished fifth in the girls race at 22:23 and Jackman finished ninth at 23:20. The girls finished third overall, thus qualifying the entire team for the state championship meet, while the boys finished fourth with Lewis as the lone male qualifier.
