Sandy Kay Kenny, 65, of Moab, passed away Sept. 19, 2014 at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, Colo.
She was born Jan. 15, 1949 in Oskaloosa, Iowa, to Vincent and Jo Putnam. She was married to Larry Kenny for many years.
Sandy had a real love for fishing, dancing and working jigsaw puzzles.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Larry; son Jody (Bai) Fleming of Grand Junction, Colo.; stepdaughters Sandi L. Kenny and Angie K. Kenny-Jones, both of Colorado Springs, Colo.; grandchildren Brighton Kenny, Haley Beck, Morgan Nielsen, Samantha Nielsen, and Derek Nielsen; sisters Amy (Cliff) Carter of Moab and Vicki Sutak of Wayne, Neb.; and niece Carrie Sutak.
She was preceded in death by her parents, nephew Jamie Kaveny, brother-in-law Monte Sutak and mother-in-law Ruth Guthrie.
At Sandy’s request, cremation has taken place and private family services will take place at a later date.
