An Open House to celebrate painting the outside of the Moab Scout House was well attended Tuesday Aug. 26. Seniors, Juniors, Brownies and Daisies thanked all involved with the painting project: Shad Swink, Mike O’Reilly, Mad Bro Paint Department, WabiSabi and parents, and recently, Heaton’s Custom Cabinets for supplying posts on which to mount the house’s sign. Members of Troop 2222 earned three awards: “the power of one,” “the power of team,” and “the power of community.” The girls earned circular patches to symbolize the ripple effect of taking action.
