The Moab Astros All-Star 14-and-under softball team, coached by Carrie Valdes, Bill Sanchez and Jessica Valdes, took first in the Babe Ruth Softball State Tourney in Salina with pool play on Friday, July 11 and tournament play on Saturday, July 12. Players were Tia Shumway, Michelle Valdes, Desi Sanchez, McKinsey Brewer, Raegan Paxman, Akyra McNeely, Hannah Owen, Hailey Cox, Christine Brown, Kahlan McElhaney and Corteney Noyes.
