Teresa Lynn Farni

Teresa Lynn Farni was born on Sept. 11,1971, to parents Clara May Cox and Jimmy Eugene Farni. She was raised in Beaumont, Calif.

In 2008, she decided to move her family to Moab to give her children a better life and did just that. On Nov. 22, 2011 she was diagnosed with breast cancer and began the biggest battle of her life. She fought and won that battle in July of 2012, becoming an inspiration to everyone around her. The thing she said most even when she was sick, was, “No really, I’m fine.” She was later diagnosed with leukemia in March of 2014 and grew her angel wings on April 23, 2014.

Teresa loved to smile, listen to music, take pictures, laugh and drink with her loved ones. Her “suck it up, buttercup” and “you got this” attitude will always be cherished as she managed to stay strong and fight for her kids all the way until the end.

Teresa is survived by her mother, Clara Farni; father, Jimmy Farni; daughter, Nicole Lara; son,Isaac Farni; and her unborn Grand-baby. She is also survived by her sister, Tammy Farni, brothers Jim and Bob Farni, and her nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Her infectious smile and positive attitude will never leave us.

“If love could have saved you, you would have lived Forever!”

Services will take place at Weaver Mortuary on Friday, May 9, at 4 p.m. in Beaumont, Calif.
