Wright Robbinson will discuss Biocontrol with Tamarisk Beetles at 6 p.m., at the Moab Information Center, on the corner of Main and Center Streets. Biological control of weeds, like the use of insects, has had an outstanding record of safely managing invasive weeds for more than 100 years. In 2004 beetles became available for movement within Utah and are showing themselves capable of assisting in the management of tamarisk. Join us at the MIC to learn of the abundance, movements and impacts on tamarisk in Grand County Utah from 2004 until 2014 and into the future.
