20 Questions with David Malley

David Malley is the preacher at Moab’s Church of Christ. He loves his job, listens to country music and enjoys the outdoor activities Moab has to offer.

1) What initially brought you to Moab?

I accepted the preacher’s position at the Moab Church of Christ.

2) What do you love most about living in Moab?

All the outdoor activities available right here in the Moab area.

3) What do you dislike about living in Moab?

It’s missing some of the things a bigger city has, such as a Wal-Mart.

4) What is your occupation?

I am a preacher at the Moab Church of Christ.

5) If you could have any job in the world, what would you most like to do?

What I am doing now. I love my job.

6) Describe a typical day in your life.

I am at my office, out in the community getting to know people or out hiking the trails.

Make a lot of friends.

10) What is your favorite Moab activity?

Anything out in the canyons or at Arches.

11) Tell us your favorite non-Moab place to visit.

Durango or Denver, Colo.

12) What do you consider your greatest achievement in life?

Getting to where I am today. Doing what I love.

13) If you were President, what’s the first thing you’d do to make life better in America? Try to get back to what our forefathers stood for.

14) What superhero power would you most like to have?

Flying would be awesome.

15) If you could be an animal, what would it be? Why?

Probably a dolphin because they just seem so free.

16) What is your all time favorite movie?

“The Bourne Identity” movies.

The apostle Peter from the Bible just to ask him what it was like to walk with Jesus every day.
