The Little Devil wrestling program has 60 children between the ages of three to 10 years old this year. They began practicing on Jan. 6 and had their first competition on Saturday, Jan. 11 at the Mat Cat Invitational in Fruita, Colo.
In the age four and under class, Dustin Peterson and Cooper Swasey both placed in third.
In the age six and under class, Austin Paris placed first; Ean Ellis placed second; Tyler Book, Peyton Hatathley and Braxton Martinez placed third; and Patrick Reilly placed fourth.
In the age eight and under class Lane Peterson and Breckin Shepherd placed first; Aaron Stewart and Brayden Althoff placed third; Caden Swasey, Connor Swasey and Ayden Ceniceros placed fourth.
In the age 10 and under class Landon Morelez placed first, Oscar Martinez and Dayson Ward placed fourth.
Their next tournament will be Jan. 18 in Montrose, Colo.
