The Moab Junior Devils traveled to Salina on Saturday, Dec. 21 to participate in the Wolf Pack Team Duals wrestling tournament.

The Junior Devils and wrestlers from Page Ariz., were combined as one team to fill open spots.

Six dual matches total were wrestled with the combined team winning three of the six.

There were a total of 16 teams of junior high/middle school kids in grades fifth through eighth.

Caison Ault, at 65 pounds, had four wins and two losses. Carson Whitney, at 70 pounds, had three wins and three losses. Dylan Harrison, at 75 pounds, had two wins and four losses. Carson Sheets, at 85 pounds, had three wins and one loss. Corbin Arbon at 90 pounds had three wins and three losses. Kayden Robertson, at 95 pounds, had three wins and three losses. Maison Moyle, at 106 pounds, had one win and four losses. Gregory Stubblefield, at 120 pounds, had one win and four losses. Isiah Williams, at 145 pounds had one loss. Trea Meyer, at 155 pounds, had two wins and two losses.

This was the teams first experience at a team dual type tournament.

“The boys really enjoyed the camaraderie of competing together as a team,” said coach Kelly Sheets. “I am very proud of how they wrestled and how they represented their team.”

The next scheduled event for the Junior Devils is The Fruita Mat Cat Tournament on Saturday, Jan. 11.
