Pablita M. Herrera, 74, originally from Mesa de Polleo, passed away on Jan. 2, 2013 in Moab.

She was born Nov. 3, 1938 to Antonio and Sorida Lujan Martinez from Mesa de Polleo. She married Alfonso Herrera on Nov. 7, 1955 in Abiquiu, New Mexico.

They moved to Moab in 1974.

She was a very loving person who loved helping people, sharing laughs, and she enjoyed her children, grandchildren, and family stopping by sitting around talking about the good old times. She loved all of us unconditionally.

She is survived by sons Herman, William Nick, Julian; two daughters Yvonne and Crissy; brothers Abad and Leandro Martinez; sisters Maria Salazar, Eleanor Sanchez; 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers and a grandson.

Funeral services were held Jan. 4, 2013 at the First Assembly Of God Church. She was laid to rest at the Grand Valley Cemetery where she will sleep in peace next to her husband side by side.
