A family archery shoot was held at the Old Spanish Trail Arena on Saturday, Jan. 5. The family shoot piggy-backed on top of an interstate professional archery competition sponsored by the LaSal Mountain Outfitters.

The free family shoot attracted about a hundred persons, whose ages ranged from 2 ½ to 55 years old. Many shot several times during the two-hour period.

Everyone seemed to enjoy the chance to shoot a bow and arrow. Most had no archery experience whatsoever, but came away from the experience, believing they could shoot without any further supervision.
