Boulders fell off a cliff face near Long Canyon on State Route 279. One of the boulders fell on the railroad line from the Intrepid Potash Plant. Kevin Fitzgerald reported that boulders the size of cars came off the cliff wall on Monday, Nov. 5. Some boulders ended up in the Colorado River and created a new rapid. [Photo by Kevin Fitzgerald]
