Front row, from left: Saina Carey, Lois Jamison and Jody Ellis. Jamison is a 37-year member of Alpha Rho Sorority, which helps the county health department screen students for amblyopia. The sorority also organizes Moab’s largest yard sale each year and collects donations for the Food Bank, among other good deeds. For the past 32 years, Jamison has also been a member of American Legion Auxiliary. That’s not all. She is also the longest active member of an acapella singing group called Valley Voices, belongs to the Lions Club, clips coupons for seniors at the Senior Center, serves as a mentor and has volunteered with Hospice, among other things.
